Our aim
To support priests with daily prayer and kindness, and to love Christ the Supreme and Eternal High Priest.

Get to know our mission
It grew out of the charism of the community of the Sisters of the Bethany Family – whose Founding Father is Fr Józef Małysiak SDS – and is the fruit of the adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament for the intention of priests.
We share our charism with the whole Church, and so we bring together lay people and clergy who pray for priests alongside us.
We run a number of initiatives meant to strengthen priests in their struggle for holiness and apostolic zeal. We also wish to form the hearts of the faithful, so that they may live by the power of the common priesthood.

O my beloved daughters! I wanted you to be a support in prayer for priests in their difficult service, so that they could count on your help in parish work. For you a priest is another Christ, yet at the same time an ordinary and weak man. You need to remember this.

Everyone who joins the mission receives the name of a priest whom they undertake to accompany spiritually throughout their life.
All members of the Mission who take part in this work say a prayer to the Holy Spirit for the priest entrusted to them and a prayer to Our Lady for the whole clergy.
Everyone admitted to the Mission receives a membership card with the above prayers for a priest and for the whole clergy, the BMWK prayer book, and a welcome letter with a leaflet.

We will gladly come to your parish for the so-called “Priesthood Sunday”, to bear witness to prayer for priests, to speak about the beauty of Christ's Priesthood and to encourage parishioners to pray for priests.

We contemplate Christ the Priest and his immense love for humankind,
we are nourished by his Body and adore the Blessed Sacrament,
we offer our daily life, prayer, fasting and sufferings for priests
we believe that we are the Church and that we build it together
BMWK groups meet for prayer and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the first Thursday of the month. They take an active part in the work of the BMWK and form the lay branch of the Bethany Family.

helping with the work of the Mission
It is testimonies that strengthen our prayer in the Mission and build up our faith.
Join the BMWK benefactors and help us carry this work further. Together we can do more.
The gifts of our donors let us develop the Bethany Mission for the Support of Priests: keep the website running, send packages to new members, print materials, visit parishes across Poland and organise the National Pilgrimage of Those Praying for Priests at Jasna Góra.
Every gift, however small, helps us reach more people and surround priests with prayer together. Thank you for every kindness.
